Catalina Terrace’s
9-10 PARTY
Tie-dye a t-shirt, eat some food, swim, and have fun with your teammates!!!!
Friday, June 17th 2011
5pm – 7pm
At Catalina Terrace, of course!
We will have Eegee’s sub sandwiches and drinks (provided by CT), but please bring a snack to share (such as chips, fruit, veggies)!!!!
Parents – if you haven’t ordered your t-shirt for tie-dyeing, please do so. We want to make sure we have a shirt for your child.

Dear 15-18 age group families,
We are gearing up for our annual sleep(less) over at the pool for Sat. June 18th. The party starts at 6:00pm and will end around 8:30am on Sunday. We will be needing help to make this party a success, so please review the list below and let me know how you can help out. We need:
* 2 parents to spend the night…we adults have fun too!
* a parent to come around 6:30am and make pancakes or waffles for all the kids…it is a byos affair (bring your own supplies: grill, pancake batter and the fixings) and the kids will eat everything in sight!!
* a net to stretch across the pool so the kids can play water volleyball
* a potluck list will be passed around at the meets next week. Please be sure to sign up for a dish (we will need both evening food and breakfast food) or supplies.
* ask your child to think of fun group activities for the evening such as games, music, or other activities that everyone can participate in and let me know their ideas.

The Party Planning Team for the 9-10 group is making plans for the June 17th party at 4:00 at CT.
One of the main party activities will be making tie dye t-shirts in CT colors.
We need to purchase the t-shirts for the kids ahead of time. So that we can get an idea of how many shirts to purchase, please email Patty Liaupsin (liaupsin@comcast.net):
1. Is your 9-10 year old coming to the party?
2. If yes, what size shirt do you need?
We will send out more detailed information soon about the party.
We would love to include any ideas or games that you have for the party. Just let me know.

Kristin & Jeff Soheil-Smith have volunteered to do this year’s slide show/movie! They would like photos from families that give a good and wide representation of the team. Please consider sending along whatever you can, the photos you’ve shot and would like to share, including video. If every family sent along two to five photos of kids in their age range, plus some extra fun shots, they could have a good, well-rounded show. He’s doing this as a full-motion video, so you could get him video you’ve shot also, even short clips, either by email or on CD. Jeff would need material by Wednesday, July 6th, in order to build the video/movie presentations he’s been perfecting!
Go through your collections from this season and find the great stuff that shows off our great team! You can email them to Kristin & Jeff at or deliver them during practice or meets on disc or flash drive. Questions? Talk with either of them at practice and meets.
